Audi has expanded its connected car services by integrating ryd’s in-car payment solution, allowing drivers to complete transactions directly from the vehicle interface.
The partnership is designed to simplify everyday mobility services such as fuel payments, parking and charging by reducing the need for separate apps or physical cards.
For Audi, the move strengthens its software-driven customer experience strategy, where convenience services become part of the ownership proposition. For ryd, it represents further momentum in embedding commerce directly into the car dashboard.
The development also highlights how automakers are increasingly turning vehicles into digital service platforms, where payments, subscriptions and location-based services can create new revenue streams and stronger user engagement.
