Stellantis is strengthening its collaboration with Applied Intuition as it pushes forward with the development of its next-generation STLA Brain intelligent vehicle platform.
The expanded partnership builds on the companies’ previous work on STLA SmartCockpit, where they have already helped enhance connected vehicle technologies and software-driven in-car experiences across Stellantis brands.
With STLA Brain, Stellantis is doubling down on its shift toward software-defined and AI-powered vehicles. The platform is designed to simplify system integration, improve software validation, and enable continuous over-the-air updates throughout the vehicle lifecycle.
According to Stellantis, the deeper collaboration will speed up software development while improving scalability and deployment efficiency across future vehicle programs.
Ned Curic highlighted that speed, scalability, and software quality are becoming increasingly critical as new technologies roll out across the company’s portfolio. He added that working with Applied Intuition will help establish a shared software foundation, enabling faster feature deployment and a smoother in-vehicle experience.
Qasar Younis described the partnership as a key step toward scaling AI-defined vehicles into mass production. He noted that both companies are jointly developing Vehicle OS and autonomy technologies across multiple Stellantis brands and architectures.
Under the agreement, Applied Intuition will support software development, simulation, validation, and deployment for core vehicle systems. Its Vehicle OS technology is expected to shorten development cycles and accelerate delivery of new automotive software features.
The collaboration reinforces Stellantis’ broader strategy to enhance connectivity, performance, and digital experiences through AI and software partnerships. As the industry shifts toward software-defined vehicles, STLA Brain is set to play a central role in enabling advanced driver assistance systems, over-the-air updates, and continuously evolving in-car experiences.
