GlobalLogic and Elektrobit expand partnership to advance software-defined vehicles

0

GlobalLogic and automotive software specialist Elektrobit have strengthened their long-standing partnership to accelerate the development of next-generation Software‑Defined Vehicles.

The expanded collaboration builds on nearly 15 years of cooperation and will focus on areas such as high-performance computing, advanced vehicle platforms and global deployment of vehicle software. Under the agreement, GlobalLogic will contribute expertise in fields including high-performance computing, functional safety and cybersecurity, complementing Elektrobit’s software platforms for SDV development.

A key aim of the partnership is to support carmakers in meeting evolving industry standards such as ASPICE 4.0 and ISO 21434, while reducing development time for production-ready vehicle software. The companies say the collaboration is designed to provide scalable and cost-efficient solutions for automakers introducing increasingly complex digital features.

Executives from both firms emphasised the importance of partnerships as the automotive industry shifts toward software-centric vehicle architectures, where digital capabilities play a growing role in vehicle performance, user experience and ongoing updates throughout the vehicle lifecycle.
