Honda Expands Gemini AI Across Core Vehicle Range in Digital Cockpit Push

Honda is extending Google’s Gemini AI assistant across its flagship vehicle lineup, reinforcing the industry’s transition toward conversational, AI-powered in-car experiences. The rollout replaces the traditional Google Assistant with Gemini on compatible Honda models equipped with Google built-in, bringing more natural voice interactions to everyday driving.

The update covers key models including the Civic, Accord, CR-V, Passport, Pilot, Prelude and Prologue. Instead of relying on predefined voice commands, drivers will be able to communicate with the vehicle using conversational language, allowing Gemini to understand context, handle follow-up questions and complete more complex requests.
